Ethics in Antiquity and Christianity

The centre for Ethics in Antiquity and Christianity includes faculty and doctoral students from New Testament and Early Church History. It is aimed at cultivating an interdisciplinary approach to the study of ethical formation, rhetorical constructions of ethical norms, and discursive foundations for ethics in early Christianity. The centre is currently involved in developing international collaborations, training doctoral students, and holding bi-annual colloquia known as the Mainz Moral Meetings.

Please contact any of the centre faculty members for further information or if you are interested in pursuing doctoral or post-doctoral research with us.
